Signage products
Commercial signage products identify a business or similar entity, assists in direction finding and attracts customers. In societies where literacy is not widespread, such signs are necessarily primarily based on graphics rather than words. Since the rise of mass literacy, such signs generally include the name of the business, often in the form of a logo, but also continue to use images in addition to and in the place of words. The number and range of signage products manufactured or distributed by a signage company will vary from one company to another. For example some companies my specialise in road traffic signs, others in billboards, digital signs, neon signs, murals, PVC signs and so on.
