Armco is a name that is known worldwide as being the manufacturer of crash barriers at every motor racing circuit and on many roads and highways throughout the Western world. Armco Suoperlite (Pty) Ltd acquired the signage company Nameplate Centre in 2008 and was itself rebranded Armco Signage, a company that is a respected supplier of signage both in South Africa and its surrounding countries. The company manufactures the complete range of road signs in accordance with SADC specifications as well as the standards that are laid down by various government departments, or according to specifications laid down by third party clients.
